This library was opened in may 1992 in one of the Government Senior secondary schools sec 40. After almost two years i.e in 1994, the Gram Panchayat provided two rooms in the community centre sector 41. Since then it is housed there. It caters to the needs of the neighbouring areas. It stocks about 4000 books mainly on religion,biography for senior citizens and competitive and children books mainly in Punjabi for young readers and students. It subscribes to the following newspapers and magazines:
